Position: Senior Project & Infrastructure Finance Officer

Job Summary:
Responsible for identifying, appraising, structuring, negotiating, and monitoring TDB’s project and infrastructure finance investments in debt, mezzanine, equity, and other instruments in line with operational guidelines and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and assess new investment opportunities to meet departmental targets
• Structure complex debt and equity investments, assessing client and country risks
• Lead transaction teams from origination to due diligence, approvals, and processing
• Conduct initial screening, analysis, and due diligence of projects
• Draft evaluation memos, indicative term sheets, and negotiate terms with clients
• Appraise projects for commercial and financial viability
• Prepare and present credit papers to committees for evaluation
• Review and negotiate transaction/security documents (facility agreements, guarantees, mortgages, etc.)
• Liaise with departments for smooth disbursement processes
• Build client relationships and expand the Bank’s network through events and workshops
• Mentor junior officers and represent the department on committees

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, Finance, or Economics (professional qualifications an advantage)
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial/development banking, finance, investment banking, M&A, structured finance, corporate finance, or private equity
• Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing investments
• Strong financial, credit, and risk evaluation skills
• Excellent business development and client relationship management skills
• Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills
• Fluency in English required; French or Portuguese is an advantage
