Position: Agricultural Specialist (USAU)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Food and Agricultural Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in agricultural economics, policy, commodity trade, or marketing analysis/research, including extensive analysis and report writing.
  • Language:
    • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
    • Fluency in Amharic, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Kiswahili, or another African language (tested).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Background investigation and pre‑employment medical exam required.
    • Must be able to start within 4 weeks of authorization/clearances.
