Position Summary
The Logistics Assistant (Warehouse) provides support for warehouse and supply chain operations, covering activities such as receiving, storing, documenting, dispatching, and returning supplies. The role also involves coordination with logistics, procurement, programme, and supply teams to support the effective management and movement of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning the receipt of locally procured supplies based on logistics and procurement information and available warehouse capacity.
- Receiving supplies from local vendors and ensuring that proof of delivery, inspection reports, Goods Receipt Notices (GRNs), and put-away records are accurately completed.
- Maintaining accurate bin cards for cleared and locally procured supplies and ensuring that records correspond with VISION data.
- Storing supplies appropriately while considering batch numbers, expiry dates, and assigned storage locations.
- Preparing, issuing, and properly filing warehouse documents, including goods received notes and dispatch waybills containing consignee information.
- Providing programme, supply, and logistics teams with required warehouse documentation and information on time.
- Ensuring that warehouses are properly maintained and kept clean.
- Monitoring safe working practices among third-party warehouse contractors and reporting repair requirements for timely action.
- Supporting the Senior Warehouse Associate with vehicle loading for supply dispatches.
- Coordinating the physical receipt and system recording of returned supplies and communicating returns to relevant programme sections.
- Supervising ancillary and casual workers involved in handling locally procured supplies at warehouses.
- Performing other assignments as requested by the supervisor.
Education Requirements
- Completion of secondary education is required.

Candidates are required to have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in areas including:
