Position: Staff Assistant (G6)
Responsibilities
- Provide substantive and administrative support to the Director and Division.
- Manage the Director’s calendar, correspondence, and workflow.
- Serve as liaison with senior officials internally and externally.
- Research, compile, and summarize background materials for reports, briefs, and speeches.
- Organize official meetings and receptions, including logistics and documentation.
- Handle confidential information, administrative processes, and document control.
- Support presentations, data analysis, and knowledge management.
- Proofread and edit outgoing documents for accuracy and style.
- Maintain databases, update websites, and generate reports.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Diploma or first‑level degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields desirable.
Work Experience
- Minimum 7 years of office support/administrative experience.
- Reduced to 5 years for candidates with a first‑level university degree.
- Experience in data analytics desirable.
- Prior work in international NGOs or UN system entities preferred.
Languages

Required: English (UN Level II – Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking).

Desirable: French (UN Level I).
