1. WASH Coordinator

Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Experience Level: Senior

Role Overview

The WASH Coordinator provides technical leadership in planning, designing, supervising, and implementing WASH interventions across emergency and development settings. The role ensures high‑quality delivery of water supply, sanitation, and hygiene programs.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Water Engineering
    • Hydraulic Engineering
    • Civil Engineering (Water Resources)
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Or related fields
  • Additional training in WASH, public health promotion, IEC/BCC, emergency WASH, or project management is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in WASH programming or water engineering
  • At least 5 years in a technical leadership role in humanitarian/emergency settings
  • Proven experience in design and supervision of rural water supply systems (boreholes, wells, piped networks, solar‑powered systems)
  • Experience with international NGOs and donor‑funded programs is highly desirable

2. MEAL Officer

Locations: Turmi (South Omo) & Semera (Afar)
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Experience Level: Senior
Total Experience: Minimum 5 years
Number of Positions: 2

Role Overview

The MEAL Officer supports monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities across project locations. The role ensures quality data collection, reporting, and compliance with donor and organizational standards.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Statistics
    • Economics
    • Development Studies
    • Social Sciences
    • Agricultural Economics
    • Public Health
    • Or related fields
  • Skills in statistical software are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of MEAL experience in development or humanitarian programs
  • Experience in field monitoring, data collection, and project evaluation
  • Experience in WASH, agriculture, or rural development programs is an advantage

3. Program Coordinator

Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Experience Level: Senior
Total Experience: Minimum 8 years
Number of Positions: 1

Role Overview

The Program Coordinator oversees multi‑sector humanitarian and development programs, ensuring effective planning, implementation, donor compliance, and coordination across regions.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Agriculture
    • Rural Development
    • Veterinary/Livestock
    • Development Studies
    • Or related fields
  • Additional training in Project/Program Management or Humanitarian Response is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with international NGOs preferred
  • At least 4 years in program coordination or senior project management
  • Experience managing multi‑sector programs (WASH, agriculture, livelihoods, resilience)
  • Proven experience with donor‑funded, multi‑regional projects
  • Experience in proposal development and program design is an advantage
