Available Job Positions

1. Database Administrator I

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of database installation, configuration, and maintenance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular database backups and restorations.
  • Optimize database queries to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Support database security measures, including access controls and data encryption.
  • Collaborate with developers and other IT team members to support application database requirements.
  • Maintain and update database documentation, including database schemas and procedures.

2. System Administrator I

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and certifications in the following areas are required:
    • IBM Power Systems
    • UNIX operating systems, including AIX and Linux
    • WebLogic
    • Virtualization technologies
