Accountant

Volga Foods is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Accountant in our operations in Ethiopia.

Volga Foods is a young and dynamic company. Our mission is to provide the people of Ethiopia with high-quality and delicious food products. We produce lemonades and snacks, actively develop new products, and plan a large-scale distribution of our products across the country.

We are at a stage of active growth and are looking for a specialist who is ready to build the financial system with us from the ground up, work on interesting tasks, and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accounting and tax records in accordance with Ethiopian legislation.
· Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
· Control settlements with suppliers, contractors, and employees.
· Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and auditors.
· Participate in shaping the company's financial policy during the growth stage.

Our Expectations:

· Genuine interest in the work and business development.
· Experience as an accountant (experience in manufacturing or FMCG is a plus).
· Knowledge of local tax legislation and reporting standards.
· Attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to work in a startup environment.
· Proficiency in accounting software (1C, QuickBooks, or similar).
