Job Summary
Ahadu Bank is seeking a Branch Manager I for its Burayu Branch. The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control branch banking activities, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, regulatory directives, and national laws. The role involves coordinating sales and business development, leading customer service initiatives, and driving branch operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee branch operations in compliance with bank policies and regulations
- Coordinate sales and business development efforts to achieve branch targets
- Guide customer service initiatives and ensure operational excellence
- Prepare and submit annual budgets, work plans, and progress reports
- Engage with the local business community to promote bank services
- Participate in community activities to strengthen the bank’s presence
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years professional experience in banking
- At least 1 year as Customer Services Manager or equivalent role
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent team building and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sales targets
- Knowledge of commercial business law, sector rules, and regulations
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
- Leadership and human resource management skills
