Key Responsibilities
The Outdoor Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- Selling and delivering products to retail shops, wholesalers, and customers along assigned routes.
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection targets.
- Promoting products and explaining their features, benefits, and value.
- Generating customer orders and following up on fulfillment.
- Identifying new customers and expanding market coverage.
- Ensuring proper product display, merchandising, and availability.
- Collecting customer payments and maintaining accurate financial reconciliation.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and responding to inquiries or complaints.
- Monitoring competitor activities and reporting market trends.
- Ensuring proper use, cleanliness, and maintenance of the sales vehicle.
- Preparing accurate daily sales, stock, and collection reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred Education
- BA degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in sales or distribution.
- Knowledge of local sales routes and market areas is an advantage.
- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and stock reconciliation.
- Basic digital literacy and ability to use mobile devices for sales reporting.
- Experience in customer service or a retail sales environment.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
