CCECC Ethiopian Branch (China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation), a leading international engineering and construction company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join its Addis Ababa office. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural design and analysis, with the ability to deliver high‑quality projects while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Position Title: Structural Engineer
• Career Level: Mid‑Level (3–5 years)
• Employment Type: Full‑time
• Location: Addis Ababa (Office)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural systems for civil and architectural projects.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to resolve design issues.
• Coordinate with construction teams during project implementation.
• Utilize design software to create innovative structural solutions.
• Document design processes and maintain organized project records.

Required Software Skills

• ETABS – Mandatory
• SAFE – Mandatory
• SAP2000 – Strong advantage
• AutoCAD – Mandatory
• Microsoft Excel & Word – Mandatory

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian or international university.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in structural design for buildings.
