Job Summary
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator will strengthen CCRDA’s MEAL system, provide technical support to staff, prepare timely reports, and analyze organizational performance. The role involves overseeing monitoring, evaluation, analytics, and reporting, while fostering learning and accountability across CCRDA’s programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
- Introduce participatory planning, monitoring, and evaluation systems
- Develop and implement M&E tools
- Provide technical support to staff on planning and evaluation
- Lead monitoring, progress tracking, and quality assurance across CCRDA units
- Prepare organizational reports for government offices
- Organize bi‑annual and annual performance reviews
- Present monitoring results to foster learning and accountability
2. Program Progress Tracking
- Identify reliable indicators for data quality assessments
- Analyze project achievements versus plans
- Ensure cross‑cutting issues (climate, gender, disability, age) are mainstreamed
3. Data Management
- Support design of M&E tools
- Manage routine data collection, cleaning, and entry
- Ensure functionality of direct monitoring systems
- Document and store organizational data properly
4. Knowledge Management
- Conduct learning assessments and produce briefs
- Document success stories and significant change stories
- Organize learning events and experience‑sharing sessions
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: MA/MSc or BA/BSc in Statistics, Demographics, Economics, Public Health, or related fields. Advanced certification in M&E, statistics, or economics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years relevant work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (NGO experience advantageous).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with data collection tools (ODK, Kobo Toolbox, Power BI)
- Proficiency in statistical software (Excel, SPSS, STATA, R)
- Strong planning, time management, teamwork, and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
