Concern Worldwide Ethiopia is seeking a qualified and experienced HR Manager to lead strategic and day‑to‑day human resources functions. This role is critical in ensuring best practices in personnel management and positioning Concern Ethiopia as an employer of choice within the INGO sector.

📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment, retention, development, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure HR administration is legally compliant and confidential.
  • Champion safeguarding policies, equal opportunities, and gender equity initiatives.
  • Support managers in handling employee relations and performance reviews.
  • Oversee induction, onboarding, and exit interviews.
  • Monitor HR systems, payroll updates, and compliance with Ethiopian labor law.
  • Contribute to emergency response efforts as required.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in HR Management or related fields (advanced qualifications preferred).
  • Experience: 4–6 years relevant HR experience, including at least 1 year in management/advisory roles.
  • Skills:
    • Human resources management and leadership
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices
    • Ability to manage teams and deliver results
    • Creativity, innovation, and problem‑solving
