Position Overview

The Communication Intern will assist ICTSS in drafting, editing, and coordinating communication outputs that highlight digital transformation initiatives and operational achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and compile the ICTSS Annual Report.
  • Collect and synthesize inputs from unit heads and experts.
  • Support editing of the ICTSS Strategy document.
  • Prepare quarterly ICTSS bulletins and communication materials.
  • Draft announcements, briefing notes, and summaries.
  • Liaise with Corporate Communications and Graphics teams.
  • Attend meetings, prepare minutes, and track action points.
  • Maintain a consolidated overview of ICTSS initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed within last 2 years) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, International Relations, or related field.
  • Experience: No professional work experience required. Writing, editing, or communication experience through academic work or internships is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong writing and editing skills.
    • Interest in digital transformation and innovation.
    • Ability to interact with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Languages: Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language desirable.
