Open Positions

1. Project Finance and Admin Officer – Bale Robe Field Office

  • Qualification: BA or above in Accounting or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in finance and administration roles (NGO/private enterprise).
  • Skills: Budgeting, account maintenance, asset/inventory management, financial software (SUN, Peachtree), strong IT and communication skills.
  • Responsibilities: Manage financial transactions, cash books, bank reconciliations, procurement, logistics, HR records, and compliance with donor requirements.
  • Location: Bale Robe Field Office, Oromia.

2. Field Cashier – Bale & South West Region

  • Qualification: College Diploma in Accounting/Secretarial Science/Office Management or BA in Accounting/Management.
  • Experience: 5 years for diploma holders, 2 years for degree holders.
  • Skills: MS Word, Excel, Access, QuickBooks, office equipment operation, cooperative attitude, ability to multitask.
  • Responsibilities: Manage petty cash, prepare payment documents, reconcile monthly reports, handle procurement records, manage utilities and office transport, maintain filing systems, and support recruitment processes.
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Location: Bale Field Office and South West Region.

3. Community Development Facilitator (CDF) – Oromia & South West Region

  • Qualification: BSc in NRM, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Participatory Forest Management (PFM), watershed management, agriculture, or grassroots NGO/community work.
  • Skills: Knowledge of PFM, climate‑smart agri‑value chains, participatory rural appraisal tools, gender mainstreaming, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Responsibilities: Implement Harness project activities at community level, facilitate site/beneficiary selection, deliver training and capacity‑building for CBOs, support gender mainstreaming, prepare progress reports, and ensure stakeholder participation.
  • Number of Positions: 5 (3 in South West Region, 2 in Oromia – Dello Menna & Harena Buluk).
