Leads the Strengthening Infectious Disease Detection Systems (STRIDES) Activity in Ethiopia, overseeing project implementation, budgets, and partnerships with U.S. Department of State Missions, Ethiopian government, and global health partners.
Qualifications: Master’s in Public Health or related field (Bachelor’s acceptable); 10+ years’ experience in large development programs; strong knowledge of polio eradication and global health security; proficiency in English and Amharic.

Provides safe transportation for staff, consultants, and visitors, ensuring vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety standards.

Serves as M&E Officer and technical lead for surveillance data analysis, supporting STRIDES Ethiopia. Responsible for data validation, risk assessment, and performance reviews to strengthen polio and infectious disease surveillance systems.
Qualifications: Master’s in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field preferred; 6+ years’ experience in surveillance/M&E; strong analytical skills; experience with DHIS2 and public health data systems; fluency in English and Amharic.

Ensures proper functioning of cold chain systems and specimen transport networks for surveillance operations. Coordinates logistics, equipment maintenance, and training to strengthen national laboratory capacity.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Microbiology or Biological Sciences; 6+ years’ experience in laboratory systems strengthening; knowledge of infectious disease diagnostics and biosafety; fluency in English and Amharic; experience with USG-funded projects preferred.
