Role Purpose
The Community Contact Center & Feedback Officer serves as the primary point of contact between callers and the ICRC. This front‑line role ensures callers receive accurate information, feedback is properly recorded, and sensitive issues are escalated appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to callers using pre‑determined answers and escalate complex issues.
- Record all interactions in the Community Contact Center (CCC) system.
- Flag sensitive complaints involving Code of Conduct violations.
- Compile and analyze feedback data to produce regular reports.
- Support dissemination campaigns and remote surveys.
- Provide accurate information to callers using ICRC databases when required.
- Maintain knowledge of ICRC activities and Code of Conduct policies.
- Represent ICRC professionally in meetings and field activities.
Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the non‑profit sector.

Languages:
- Fluency in Amharic, Afan Oromo, and Somali.
- Additional languages (Afari, Sidama, Anuak, Nuer) are an advantage.
- Fluent in English, with ability to translate local languages into English.

Skills:
- Experience in call center operations and telephony systems.
- Strong data management and MS Office (Excel) skills.
- Excellent communication, empathy, patience, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to IT tools and technology.
