Position: Finance Intern

Job Summary

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in day‑to‑day operations, gaining practical experience in accounting, financial procedures, and NGO finance management. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to financial systems and compliance in a humanitarian organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
• One recommendation letter from a recognized university confirming integrity and responsibility.

Internship Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Supervisor: Finance Officer
• Location: Addis Ababa (intern’s home location)
• Funding & Benefits:
  • Workstation and office supplies provided.
  • Transport allowance: 100 USD.
  • Per diem, lodging, and transport covered during field visits.
• Intern Responsibilities: Cover personal transport to/from office, medical, and insurance costs.
