Open Positions

1. Payment and Administration Officer

  • Responsibilities:
    • Verify and record bills, journals, and ensure tax compliance.
    • Manage accounts payable, sub‑ledgers, and disbursement data.
    • Support month‑end and year‑end closures.
    • Enforce procurement regulations and digitize financial records.
    • Audit shelters, verify attendance records, and reconcile partner data.
    • Forecast monthly expenditure and burn‑rate.
  • Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and cost‑control methods.
    • Experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, and audit preparation.
    • Excellent understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations.
    • Proficiency in financial software and digital dashboards.

2. Project Financial Administrator (Conditional Cash Transfer)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Verify bills and journals with compliant documentation.
    • Enforce Delegation of Authority (DOA) and procurement regulations.
    • Draft conditional cash transfer schedules and reconcile partner invoices.
    • Conduct compliance checks at shelters and spot‑checks at field sites.
    • Compile monthly field data for expenditure forecasting.
    • Ensure statutory compliance and maintain digital archives.
  • Requirements:
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, or operational accounting.
    • Strong mastery of risk mitigation, cost control, and audit preparation.
    • Proven track record in field data reconciliation and cash‑transfer verification.
    • Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel.
