Position: Canteen Service Associate

The Canteen Service Associate will oversee the efficient, hygienic, and high‑quality operation of the company canteen and coffee corners across multiple locations. The role ensures food safety, service quality, vendor performance, and employee satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Canteen Operations: Manage daily canteen and coffee corner services, validate meal records, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Enforce sanitation standards, inspect food quality, and monitor handling/storage practices.
  • Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Ensure upkeep of canteen equipment, drainage, and facilities.
  • Vendor Coordination: Monitor outsourced service providers, ensure compliance, and support procurement in contract management.
  • Customer Service: Address employee feedback, support catering for meetings/events, and enhance service quality.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, inspection logs, and ensure compliance with audits and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, Nutrition, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in hotel, canteen, or cafeteria management.
  • Certifications: Food Safety, Hygiene, or Catering Services certification preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Vendor and supplier management experience.
    • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
    • Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
    • Fluent in English; computer literacy (Excel preferred).
