About Neo Microfinance Institution

Neo Microfinance Institution S.C (NEO) is an Ethiopian microfinance institution under formation that has fulfilled all prerequisites of the National Bank of Ethiopia’s regulatory requirements to receive an MFI license. NEO’s mission is to become a unified fintech entity for lending, payments, and transfers, creating a digital‑first financial services brand for the Ethiopian market.

1. System Administrator

  • Qualification: BA in IT/Computer Science
  • Experience: 4 years relevant work experience in financial institutions
  • Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel); system operation preferred
  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Salary: As per company scale

2. Senior Risk and Complain Officer

  • Qualification: BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related fields
  • Experience: 2–4 years relevant work experience in financial institutions
  • Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Salary: As per company scale

3. HR and Admin Officer

  • Qualification: BA/Diploma in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Experience: 2–4 years relevant work experience in financial institutions
  • Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Salary: As per company scale

4. Senior Auditor

  • Qualification: BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related fields
  • Experience: 4 years relevant experience (preferably in microfinance institutions)

5. Senior Accountant

  • Qualification: BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related fields
  • Experience: 4 years relevant experience (mandatory in microfinance institutions)
  • Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel); system operation preferred
  • Location: Addis Ababa

6. Saving & Credit Officer

  • Qualification: BA/Diploma in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Experience: 2–4 years relevant work experience in financial institutions

7. Chief Internal Auditor

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Experience: 8/5 years in internal audit, compliance, or risk management (3 years in managerial roles)
