Qualifications

  • BSc in Nursing
  • Valid nursing license
  • 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver supervised patient care across multiple units

Job Summary

The role also oversees leave management and overtime administration while driving payroll accuracy, efficiency, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Reconcile payroll data with finance records
  • Maintain accurate payroll records with strict confidentiality

Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Administer salary structures, benefits, and allowances
  • Support salary reviews and equity analysis
  • Ensure consistent application of compensation policies

Leave & Overtime Management

  • Manage employee leave records and reporting
  • Validate and process overtime in line with policy
  • Coordinate with department heads for accuracy

Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and tax regulations
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports
  • Support internal and external audits

HRIS, Data Management & Optimization

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Generate payroll and compensation reports
  • Implement process improvements and automation

Employee Support & Coordination

  • Respond to employee inquiries on payroll and benefits
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams
  • Support onboarding and offboarding payroll processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll and compensation (hospital HR setting preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law, payroll processes, and tax regulations
  • Experience managing leave systems and overtime calculations
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
