Job Summary
The Junior Accountant will assist the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software and ledgers
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash balances regularly
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with tax filing, payroll preparation, and statutory compliance
- Provide documents and support during audits
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial recordkeeping
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
Required Qualifications

Education: BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields

Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or Peachtree preferred)
- Understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and receivable
