Position Overview
The Programmes and Partnerships Coordinator – Ethiopia will work closely with the Regional Programmes and Partnerships Advisor (RPPA – Africa) to strengthen internal capacities and manage strategic partnerships. The role supports programme cycle management, compliance, monitoring, evaluation, and expansion of donkey welfare initiatives across Ethiopia.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme cycle management for funded partnerships in Ethiopia (applications, grants, reporting, learning).
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and partner due diligence.
- Coordinate Ethiopia projects to ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and resource deployment.
- Engage frequently with country teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Collate context analysis, data, case studies, and photographs for reporting and communications.
Candidate Profile
- Significant Ethiopian experience in animal welfare, international development, or related sectors.
- Demonstrable project/programme cycle management experience.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of project monitoring and reporting tools.
- Experience working and communicating internationally with diverse stakeholders.
- Competent IT skills (MS Office).
- Fluent in English.
