This consultancy offers a unique opportunity to strengthen gender‑based violence in emergencies (GBViE) programming in Tigray, contributing to child protection and humanitarian response.
Position: National Consultant – GBViE
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and contribute to GBViE workstreams within the Child Protection section.
- Provide technical inputs and coordination for ongoing programmes.
- Monitor programme quality and results.
- Lead capacity building, knowledge management, and innovation.
- Support advocacy, networking, and partnership building.
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GBViE, preferably with a UN agency.
- Field experience in GBViE project management.
- Experience delivering GBViE‑related trainings.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
- Proficiency in Tigrigna required.
