Available Internship Positions
1. Diversity and Outreach Intern
Location: Addis Ababa
Requirements:

Education:
- Must meet ONE of the following:
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate program (Master’s level or higher)
- Enrolled in or completed the final year of a Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
- No prior work experience required; interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion is an advantage
2. Intern – Meeting Services Assistant
Location: Addis Ababa
Requirements:

Education:
- Must meet ONE of the following:
- Enrolled in or completed a first degree or graduate program
- Enrolled in or completed the final academic year of a Bachelor’s degree
- Background in adult education, human resources management, or management studies is desirable

Experience:
- No prior experience required; familiarity with meeting coordination is an asset
3. Communications Intern
Location: Addis Ababa
Requirements:

Education:
- Must meet ONE of the following:
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate program
- Enrolled in or completed the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
- Academic background in communications, graphic design, or content creation is desirable

Experience:
- No prior experience required; skills in digital media and content development are an advantage
Internship Conditions
- Internships at the United Nations are unpaid.
- Interns are responsible for travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses.
- Non‑residents may be required to obtain appropriate visa and work authorization.
- Selected candidates must confirm visa requirements before accepting the offer.
