The Senior E‑Banking Officer plays a critical role in managing and developing digital banking channels, ensuring secure, reliable, and user‑friendly services that enhance customer experience and support the institution’s digital transformation strategy.


Position: Senior E‑Banking Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support e‑banking platforms (mobile, internet, ATM, Agency Banking, POS, card services).
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, marketing, and vendors to enhance digital banking functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance and customer usage; recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity standards.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with vendors for updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Analyze usage reports and customer feedback to improve adoption.
  • Prepare periodic reports on e‑banking performance and incidents.
  • Train branch staff and customer service teams on e‑banking services.
  • Participate in digital innovation initiatives to increase transaction volumes.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: BA in IT, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or related field.
  • Training: Project Management, ITIL, Digital Financial Services; certifications in e‑banking are an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT, with at least 2 years in digital banking platforms.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of digital banking technologies and trends.
    • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of banking regulations related to e‑banking and data privacy.
    • Customer‑centric mindset and proactive approach.
