Position: IT Operations Associate (SC6)
Job Purpose
To coordinate and guide IT maintenance and support activities, ensuring effective delivery of IT services at the Dollo Ado field office.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out system and hardware maintenance tasks, including network monitoring and system protection.
- Monitor technology reliability, identify user needs, and recommend IT solutions.
- Resolve IT queries independently and escalate when required.
- Provide technical training to staff on commonly used systems.
- Guide and train junior colleagues in IT support services.
- Support implementation of new applications and draft technical documentation.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
- Manage and coach a team of IT staff to meet objectives.
- Follow emergency response processes to support food assistance operations.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of secondary school education; post‑secondary certificate in IT or related field desirable.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible work experience in IT, digital solutions, and data management.

Desirable:
- Experience in service management analysis and improvement.
- Participation in business process re‑engineering.
- Experience in procurement and budgeting processes.

Languages: Fluency in English required; fluency in Somali desirable.
