Position: Storekeeper G4

Role Purpose: To handle receipt, dispatch, and verification of commodities in order to maximize warehouse operations, safeguard food and non‑food items, and ensure compliance with WFP standards.

Key Accountabilities:

• Receive and dispatch commodities against approved documentation, ensuring accuracy in physical counts and quality checks.
• Prepare, verify, and sign warehouse and transport documents; maintain accurate transaction records.
• Conduct daily reconciliations and inventory checks to support internal control systems.
• Inspect commodities, report discrepancies/damages, and recommend solutions.
• Implement preventive measures to safeguard commodities and ensure quality control.
• Monitor warehouse conditions and plan efficient space utilization.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to warehouse staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Completion of secondary school education. Post‑secondary certificate in logistics or related field desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in similar roles, including:
  • Managing warehouses with food and NFIs.
  • Inventory management and invoice processing.
  • Using logistics databases to generate reports.
• Language: Fluency in English and the duty station’s language.
